Rokoala is an independent Roblox gaming publication. We cut through the sea of new releases and dusty top-charts to surface the games people are actually playing — and the ones that are about to blow up.
What we cover
Every roundup is built around a single question: if you opened Roblox right now, what should you play? We answer that across a rotating set of desks — from week-over-week trending and sheer player counts, to horror, obbies, tycoons, and the games getting traction before anyone else notices — plus in-depth spotlights that take a single breakout game apart.
Our schedule
A fresh roundup lands every week, alongside regular game spotlights — deep dives on single games that are breaking out. Once a month we step back for the bigger Games of the Month feature.
How we pick games
Selections start from live data — concurrent players, recent growth, player ratings — pulled from public Roblox sources. From there an editor trims the list, writes the take, and decides what actually deserves a slot. No invented player quotes, no fake review scores, no hyping games that don't deserve it.
What you won't find here
- Popups, interstitials, or autoplay video
- Fabricated quotes or made-up review scores
- Filler lists that rank games nobody is actually playing
Who writes Rokoala
Rokoala is edited by Robin Vale, who has been playing Roblox across just about every genre — tycoons, horror, obbies, tower defense — for years. Every roundup and spotlight is checked against live player data before it goes out: no invented quotes, no made-up review scores, and no recommending a game that isn't worth the time. If a pick is rough around the edges, we say so.
